Linda
Each author at the Men of Mystery event had their own table host who looked after us all day. Thanks to Linda who did a great job, even slipping me a glass of wine during the book signing hour. In her real life she does dramatic monologues, specializing in former first ladies.I knew I’d like her when she told me I’d recognize her at our meeting spot by her maroon hat with black feather.

Alison and Laura
With readers Alison (Ontario) and Laura (Alberta) who used a vacation to visit Russell Quant’s home of Saskatoon. Laura contacted me ahead of time, and as a surprise for Alison, she brought her to my home where (incidentally) we were hosting our annual pool party. So it was great fun and wonderful to meet these two. Every year they challenge me with hints about where they are going on their next friends-sans husbands-vacation. July 2009
