During the investigation, Roger tells her he is still investigating the threatening notes she received during a previous case. The results are shocking.
The book has a fast pace, the characters are well developed, and it is written in the third person point of view. Great writing with emotion. Merry is still unsure of herself while trying to be a successful businesswoman. This is the second book in the Merry Bell Livingsky series If you like mysteries, especially those based in Canada, you will enjoy reading this one.
