This is an interesting concept. The people who bring you the wonderful When Words Collide: A Calgary Readercon have created unique “collision” podcasts where they’ve taken interesting bits and pieces from past interactions with authors that fit together in a new way. Here’s one that includes a segment from when I was a speaker at the 2012 festival and wisdom from Jayne Barnard, Susan Calder, David Poulsen and Dwayne Clayden.
The topic: Are Canadian crime writers pigeon-holed? Can they “break through” with non-Canadian (read: U.S.) readers.
You can hear the podcast (about 20 minutes) at Collision Reconstruction
